I love making soap!
Well liquid soap anyway. That bar soap stuff, yeah, I haven't tried that yet.
My sister did though and her soap is pretty awesome.
You know when you wash your clothes, and it is just disappointing?
Well I know that feeling all to well.
So I went on a quest for an EXCELLENT laundry soap recipe.
I was unimpressed!
It was so hard to find a good recipe.
You know, the one that wouldn't separate, or wasn't too hard to do, or even inexpensive. You see it needs to dissolve easily, because we wash lots of things in cold water, and my dry laundry soap that I was using wasn't dissolving very well.
Now I do love the powdered soap that I make for warm or hot water washes.
Which is why I will be giving you that recipe....
But we will get to that later.
What I REALLY wanted you to know is that I have nearly PERFECTED the most amazing CASTILE LAUNDRY SOAP!!!
It is thick and gelled, but not to thick. It make your clothes so bright and clean!!!! I LOVE it!!!

This is the soap paste and water. It is being thinned out here.

I could just make soap all the time! It is so rewarding!!!
This is soap pate and bubbles!
When it saponifies, it becomes pretty translucent. It is very interesting to watch the stages the soap goes through.

This is the soap before it gels. No it does not gel as it cools.
You see, getting it to gel is the hard part, which I could not find directions for anywhere!
But I have figured it out!
The only problem is that I have not found the perfect ratio! But I will!
I am really pleased because I can make this soap out of completely organic and natural ingredients!!!!

Do you see how bubbly it is???!!!
For some reason I cannot resist playing with bubbles!
The likelihood of me being addicted to bubbles and bubble baths when I was little is very high! (:

You may be concerned about this soap being too sudsy for your HE washing machine, but not to fear!
I use it in my HE machine with no problems all the time!
Besides why would you pass up an opportunity, to have such lovely, bright, clean clothes!
